SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets fell to Worcester last night, 2–1.

Quinn Brodey went yard, tallying his second home run on the season.

Jordan Yamamoto made the start for the Mets, allowing one run over 4.1 innings of work and striking out eight. Mets #27 prospect in the organization (MLB Pipeline) Yennsy Díaz, tossed a scoreless frame, fanning two.

Syracuse continues its series in Worcester, sending Jared Eickhoff to the mound. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 p.m.

BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton saw a 9–7 loss to Altoona last night.

3B, Mark Vientos

Carlos Cortes (Mets #19 prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely three times, scoring once and driving one in. Catcher, Nick Meyer collected three hits on the night, also recording one run scored and one RBI. Mets #8 prospect (MLB Pipeline) Mark Vientos went deep — a two run shot in the first inning — for his second long ball on the season.

Tony Dibrell tossed three scoreless innings in relief, fanning three.

Binghamton squares off against Altoona again tonight at 6:35 p.m.

BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn was defeated by Greenville last night, 5–1.

1B, Joe Genord

Joe Genord would record his third homer on the season, a solo shot in the second inning. Jake Mangum, Ronny Mauricio and Jose Mena would also record base hits in the game for the Cyclones.

Andrew Edwards lowered his season ERA to 1.59 after tossing 2.1 innings of shutout ball in relief, punching out three.

Jaison Vilera will make the start for Brooklyn tonight as they are set to take on Greenville again on the road tonight. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.

ST. LUCIE METS

INF, Shervyen Newton

St. Lucie defeated Daytona in extras, 5–4.

Shervyen Newton (Mets #15 prospect — MLB Pipeline) went 2-for-5 with a walk, three RBI and a run scored for the Mets. First baseman Warren Saunders scored three runs for St. Lucie.

Colby Morris recorded the save in the 10th inning for St. Lucie, fanning one while allowing zero earned runs.

Mets will send #28 prospect (MLB Pipeline) Joander Suarez to the mound in another matchup with Daytona. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.
