SYRACUSE METS
Syracuse fell to Rochester, 7–4.
Mason Williams recored a multi-hit game with two runs scored and one RBI, raising his season average to .341. David Thompson also collected two hits and drove in a run.
Arodys Vizcaíno, Bradley Roney and Sam McWilliams (Mets #16 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) combined for 2.1 scoreless innings in relief.
Syracuse takes on Rochester again today at 1:05 p.m.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton was slated to play a double header against Akron, with game two being the makeup of a postponed game from May 9. The RumblePonies lost to Akron in game one, 3–1. Game two was ultimately postponed due to weather.
Jeremy Vasquez, Mark Vientos (Mets #8 ranked prospect), Desmond Lindsay and Hayden Senger each tallied a base hit for Binghamton. Cole Gordon tossed four innings in relief, allowing one run while punching out four batters.
The RumblePonies will plan for a doubleheader today with game one scheduled for 5:35 p.m. Right-hander Josh Walker will make his debut on the mound for Binghamton. Game two will follow the completion of game one.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn’s scheduled matchup with Aberdeen was postponed due to rain.
The Cyclones will play Aberdeen in a double-header today with the first regularly scheduled game at 6:00 p.m. Game two will follow the completion of game one and is the makeup game from 5/26.
ST. LUCIE METS
St. Lucie defeated Daytona, 4–3.
Warren Saunders collected a couple of base hits for St. Lucie including one RBI. Ranfy Adon reached base safely twice with a hit and walk. He also scored once and drove a run in. Shervyen Newton (Mets #15 ranked prospect) and Jimmy Titus would each record one RBI as well.
Justin Lasko was lights out in his start, tossing eight innings, allowing just one run and striking out eight.
St. Lucie will send Joander Suarez to the mound as they take on Daytona again today at 6:10 p.m.
