The Syracuse Mets fell to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre last night, 7–5.

Jake Hager hit a grand-slam while Brandon Drury recorded a multi-hit game. Martin Červenka doubled, drove in a run and scored. Sam McWilliams tossed two perfect innings, fanning three batters.

Syracuse hosts Scranton/Wilkes-Barre again tonight at 6:35 p.m.

BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES

Binghamton was defeated yesterday by Akron, 4–1.

Carlos Cortes, Sebastian Elizalde and Wagner Lagrange tallied hits for the RumblePonies. Colin Holderman fanned six over five innings of work, allowing two runs.

The Binghamton RumblePonies look to get in the win column tonight, continuing their road series at Akron. Sam Tewes gets the nod for Binghamton — first pitch is at 6:35 p.m.

BROOKLYN CYCLONES

Brooklyn lost last night to Asheville by a score of 6–1.

RHP, Bryce Montes de Oca

Luke Ritter clubbed his first home run of the season — a solo shot in the 7th inning. Cody Bohanek collected three hits for the Cyclones while Brett Baty (Mets #4 prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely three times. Bryce Montes de Oca made his professional debut, tossing a scoreless inning of relief.

The Cyclones are on the road again tonight at Asheville with Oscar Rojas on the hill. First pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m.

ST. LUCIE METS

The St. Lucie Mets saw their first loss of the season yesterday, 6–5 to Jupiter.

The team swiped a total of nine bags, tallying eight hits. Mets 2020 first-round pick, Pete Crow-Armstrong reached base five times, via four base on balls and one hit by pitch. Jose Peroza, Warren Saunders, Jaylen Palmer and Tanner Murphy each recorded multi-hit games for St. Lucie.

The St. Lucie Mets continue their home series with Jupiter tonight at 6:10 p.m. Garrison Bryant is expected to start for St. Lucie.
