SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets fell to Buffalo last night, 3–2.
Martin Červenka reached base safely four times with three hits and a walk. Patrick Mazeika recorded a multi-hit game including a double and RBI while Khalil Lee doubled and scored a run.
Jesús Reyes made the start for Syracuse, tossing six innings, allowing one earned run and fanning six.
The Syracuse Mets take on buffalo again on the road tonight at 7:05 p.m.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
The Binghamton RumblePonies saw a 6–4 win over New Hampshire.
Jeremy Vasquez reached base safely four times, scoring two runs. Wagner Lagrange recorded a multi-hit game while Manny Rodriguez tallied two hits and two RBI.
Tony Dibrell got the start for Binghamton, earning the win. The right-hander threw six innings and allowed two earned runs while punching out five. Cole Gordon earned his first save on the season.
Binghamton squares off against New Hampshire again tonight at 6:35 p.m.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
The Brooklyn Cyclones defeated Jersey Shore, 11–5.
Mets #4 ranked prospect Brett Baty (MLB Pipeline) had a night at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double, home run, three RBI and two runs scored. Mets #1 ranked prospect Francisco Álvarez (MLB Pipeline) also homered last night — his first since joining the Cyclones. Joe Genord slugged his team leading fifth home run while Adrian Hernandez would also add a solo shot to help power the Cyclones.
Mets #17 ranked prospect Jose Butto (MLB Pipeline) made the start for Brooklyn, going 5.1 innings and allowing two earned runs while striking out five.
Brooklyn will continue the road series with Jersey Shore tonight at 7:05 p.m.
ST. LUCIE METS
The St. Lucie Mets fell to Fort Myers yesterday, 1–0.
Outfielder Joe Suozzi recorded a multi-hit game for St. Lucie.
Oscar Rojas toed the rubber for St. Lucie and looked good in the start — 5 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 4 K. Matt Cleveland has continued his stellar work out of the St. Lucie bullpen after tossing one scoreless inning. He has yet to allow an earned run in 6.1 relief innings pitched.
St. Lucie will give the ball to Mets #29 ranked prospect (MLB Pipeline) Joander Suarez as they take on Fort Myers again tonight at 7:00 p.m.
