SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets defeated the Buffalo Bisons yesterday, 6–4.
David Thompson slugged his sixth homer of the season, driving in two. Orlando Calixte would deliver the big blow, hammering a bases-clearing double in the fourth inning. Patrick Mazeika recorded a multi-hit game and scored twice.
Yennsy Díaz lowered his Syracuse ERA to 1.50 after tossing two scoreless innings. Stephen Nogosek continues to shine out of the bullpen, earning the save last night and bringing his season ERA down to 1.35.
Syracuse will take on Buffalo again tonight at 7:05 p.m.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
The Binghamton RumblePonies pulled off the late-inning comeback to defeat New Hampshire 8–7 in extra innings.
Jake Mangum had a night, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, triple, three runs scored and two RBI. Hayden Senger and Matt Winaker would also collect multi-hit games for Binghamton. Wagner Lagrange drove in two.
Jared Robinson secured the win for Binghamton, earning the save in the tenth inning.
Binghamton will send Josh Walker to the mound as they take on New Hampshire again tonight. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
The Brooklyn Cyclones fell to Jersey Shore yesterday, 4–1.
Brett Baty (Mets #4 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) stayed hot, recording a multi-hit game. Outfielder Antoine Duplantis reached base safely three times.
Andrew Edwards continues to impress out of the Cyclones bullpen, tossing two scoreless innings and lowering his ERA to 1.54.
Brooklyn gets set to square off with Jersey Shore again tonight at 7:05 p.m. They will send Jaison Vilera to the mound.
ST. LUCIE METS
St. Lucie was defeated by Fort Myers yesterday, 8–4.
Ranfy Adon tallied two hits in the game, including a double and RBI. Nic Gaddis scored twice for St. Lucie while Brendan Fryman and Jose Peroza also recorded RBIs of their own.
St. Lucie will send Mets #6 ranked prospect (MLB Pipeline) J.T. Ginn to the mound as they take on Fort Myers again today at 7:00 p.m.
