SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets dropped both games of a doubleheader to Buffalo.

OF, Brandon Nimmo

In the 8–5 game one loss, Khalil Lee (Mets #7 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, walk and three runs scored. Brandon Nimmo continued his rehab assignment with Syracuse, recording a hit and run scored from the leadoff spot. Orlando Calixte tallied a multi-hit game that included a double and two RBI.

OF, Khalil Lee

Thomas Szapucki (Mets #10 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) made the start, tossing five innings and allowing three earned runs.

Game two was a makeup game from June 22 in which Syracuse lost 5–4.

INF, Wilfredo Tovar

Wilfredo Tovar had a multi-hit game that included a solo home run and a double. Infielder Drew Jackson reached base safely four times with two hits, two walks and two RBI. David Rodríguez also collected two hits on the night.

Vance Worley made his Syracuse Mets debut on the mound, going 4.2 innings and allowing three earned runs while fanning five. Tom Windle and Marcel Rentería combined for 2.1 shutout innings out of the bullpen.

Syracuse is scheduled to take on Buffalo again tonight at 6:35 p.m.

BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
The Binghamton RumblePonies lost a slugfest to Reading, 10–9.

1B/3B, Mark Vientos

Mark Vientos (Mets #8 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) had a big day at the plate, launching two home runs and driving in four. Vientos now has 11 home runs on the season which leads Binghamton and is tied for fourth in the Double-A Northeast. Will Toffey also homered as part of a multi-hit game and stole two bases while Hayden Senger went 2-for-6 with two RBI. Luis Carpio and Quinn Brodey also collected multiple hits for Binghamton.

The Binghamton RumblePonies will send Cole Gordon to the mound as they face off against Reading again at 7:05 p.m.

BROOKLYN CYCLONES
The Brooklyn Cyclones saw a 3–0 loss to Jersey Shore.

3B, Brett Baty

Brett Baty (Mets #4 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) doubled in the contest while Luke Ritter reached base safely twice.

Jose Butto made the start for Brooklyn, allowing one earned run over 4.2 innings of work. Conner O’Neil and Andrew Edwards combined for 4.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen.

RHP, Jose Butto

Cam Opp gets the nod for Brooklyn as they continue the home series against Jersey Shore. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

ST. LUCIE METS

1B, Warren Saunders

The St. Lucie Mets completed their rain suspended game from June 23, losing 12–11 to Dunedin.

Matt Dyer went 2-for-4 with a home run, walk, two RBI and two runs scored. Jose Peroza launched a grand slam as part of a multi-hit night. First baseman Warren Saunders had a three hit game with a triple and two runs scored. Four other members of the St. Lucie Mets recorded multi-hit games.

St. Lucie was defeated in their regularly scheduled game with Dunedin, 16–7.

2B, Jose Peroza

Jose Peroza stayed hot, reaching base four times with two hits, two walks, two runs scored and an RBI. Jaylen Palmer (Mets #12 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) also had a multi-hit game going 2-for-4 with a double, walk, run scored and two RBI. Branden Fryman, Jimmy Titus and Ranfy Adon also had multi-hit games.

Drake Nightengale tossed 2.2 shutout innings with three strikeouts in relief.

St. Lucie is scheduled to face Dunedin in a doubleheader. The first game will begin at 4:00 p.m. Game two (a makeup from June 23) will begin following the completion of game one.
