SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets saw a 9–8 win over Buffalo.

INF/OF Brandon Drury

Martin Červenka launched his fourth homer on the season as part of a multi-hit game while Brandon Drury went 3-for-5 with a homer of his own and three RBI. César Puello also collected a multi-hit game for Syracuse. Cameron Maybin doubled and drove in two. Khalil Lee (Mets #7 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely three times. Brandon Nimmo tallied a hit and run scored as he continues to rehab.

Jesús Reyes got the start on the mound, going 5.2 innings, allowing three runs and fanning eight batters. Dellin Betances continued his rehab assignment with Syracuse.

Syracuse will take on Buffalo again tonight at 6:35 p.m.

BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
The Binghamton RumblePonies fell to Reading, 8–5.

OF, Carlos Cortes

Carlos Cortes (Mets #17 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) smacked his eighth homer on the season — a solo shot in the fifth inning. Manny Rodriguez also homered in the contest, a three-run shot and his fourth on the campaign to go along with three RBI. Mark Vientos (Mets #8 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) continues to swing a hot bat, collecting two more hits including a double.

Cole Gordon made the start for Binghamton, allowing three earned runs in 6.1 innings pitched and punching out five batters. Ryley Gilliam pitched a scoreless inning out of the bullpen.

Binghamton will square off against Reading again tonight at 6:35 p.m. as Oscar de la Cruz gets the nod.

BROOKLYN CYCLONES
The Brooklyn Cyclones defeated Jersey Shore, 7–2.

Jeremy Vasquez went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. Francisco Álvarez (Mets #1 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) also homered in the win, his fifth since joining Brooklyn. Cody Bohanek recorded a multi-hit game as did LT Struble to go along with a triple and two RBI.

Cam Opp made the start for Brooklyn, allowing two earned runs over 5.2 innings of work. Josh Hejka and Allan Winans combined for 3.1 shutout innings in relief to secure the win.

Brooklyn will host Jersey Shore again tonight at 6:00 p.m.

ST. LUCIE METS
The St. Lucie Mets swept a doubleheader against Dunedin yesterday.

In the 5–0 game one shutout win, Branden Fryman hit his second home run on the season, a fourth inning solo shot. Alex Ramirez (Mets #9 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) doubled and drove in two for St. Lucie while Jaylen Palmer (Mets #12 ranked prospect) went 2-for-2 with a triple, run scored, RBI and a walk. Jimmy Titus also had a multi-hit game in the win.

RHP, Oscar Rojas

Oscar Rojas lowered his ERA to 0.98 with a seven inning complete game shutout performance. He allowed just four hits and fanned nine batters.

St. Lucie would win game two (a makeup from June 23), 3–2. Alex Ramirez (Mets #9 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) had a multi-hit game that included a triple, run scored and RBI. Jose Peroza reached base safely three times with a double, two walks and two RBI.

Franklin Parra allowed one earned run over four innings of work to go along with five strikeouts. Luis Montas tossed three shutout frames in relief, recording the win.

St. Lucie will host Dunedin again tonight at 6:10 p.m. J.T. Ginn (Mets #6 ranked prospect) is expected to make the start.
