SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets split a doubleheader with Buffalo yesterday, with game two being a makeup from a June 3 rain out.

Syracuse fell to Buffalo in game one, 5–4.

INF, Luis Guillorme

Patrick Mazeika and Mets #7 raked prospect Khalil Lee (MLB Pipeline) each recorded multi-hit games with a double and combined for three RBI. Luis Guillorme began a rehab assignment with Syracuse, playing third and batting second. He tallied a hit, walk, and two runs scored in two plate appearances. Orlando Calixte also reached base safely twice, scoring a run and driving one in.

Mets #10 ranked prospect Thomas Szapucki (MLB Pipeline) made the start for Syracuse, allowing one earned run over five innings while fanning seven.

Syracuse defeated Buffalo in game two, 6–3.

David Thompson slugged his club-leading seventh homer on the season, a two-run shot in the fifth inning. Newly acquired infielder Cheslor Cuthbert also homered in the win and drove in two.

Tylor Megill made his Syracuse Mets debut, tossing four innings allowing two earned runs and fanning four. Corey Oswalt and Marcel Rentería combined to allow zero earned runs out of the bullpen.

Syracuse continues their series with Buffalo tonight at 6:05 p.m.

BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES

INF, Carlos Cortes

Binghamton collected 15 team hits in an 11–4 win over New Hampshire.

Eight of the nine starters in the RumblePonies lineup recorded at least one RBI. Jake Mangum stayed hot since his promotion, reaching base four times with three hits, including two doubles, a walk and three runs scored. He is hitting .354 since being called-up to Binghamton.

Carlos Cortes continues to swing the bat well, recording a multi-hit game with a double and three runs scored. Will Toffey also reached base four times while Nick Meyer had three base knocks in the win as well.

Right-hander Adam Oller got the win as he struck out four batters in five innings of work, allowing two runs.

Binghamton will take on New Hampshire again today at 6:35 p.m. Cole Gordon will make the start for the RumblePonies.

BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn’s game with Jersey Shore on June 3 was completed prior to Brooklyn’s regularly scheduled bout.

The Cyclones came back to win in the continuation of game one, 6–4.

SS, Ronny Mauricio

Brett Baty (Mets #4 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) powered the Brooklyn offense, going 3-for-4 recording two home runs, a double and four RBI. Ronny Mauricio (Mets #2 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) also had a three-hit game including a homer, two RBI and two runs scored.

Eric Orze, Bryce Montes de Oca and Brian Metoyer combined for six innings of one run ball while fanning ten batters in relief.

Brooklyn would fall to Jersey Shore in their regularly scheduled game, 5–4.

C, Francisco Álvarez

Francisco Álvarez (Mets #1 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) homered, a solo shot in the fifth inning and his second since joining Brooklyn. Brett Baty continued to come up clutch in game two, recording a hit, two RBI and run scored.

Brooklyn will square off with Jersey Shore again tonight. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

ST. LUCIE METS
The St. Lucie Mets were defeated by Fort Myers, 3–2.

Joe Suozzi recorded a multi-hit game for St. Lucie, driving in one run. Nic Gaddis reached base safely four times with a hit and three walks. Branden Fryman stole two bases and scored twice for the Mets.

RHP Luis Montas threw three shutout innings in relief while Matt Cleveland continued to impress out of the bullpen, tossing one scoreless inning. He has yet to allow an earned run this season for St. Lucie.
