SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets saw a 7–6 win over Buffalo.
Quinn Brodey had a multi-hit game for Syracuse, including a three run home run in the sixth inning. Khalil Lee (Mets #7 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely four times in the win. Luis Guillorme made another rehab start, playing third base and batting second. He recorded a walk, run scored and RBI.
Jerad Eickhoff got the win, improving his record to 5–0. Stephen Tarpley and Sean Reid-Foley combined for two scoreless innings in relief before Yennsy Díaz came on to pitch a perfect ninth inning and record the save.
Syracuse takes on Buffalo again today at 1:05 p.m.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton fell to New Hampshire, 8–3.
Matt Winaker reached base three times with a hit, walk, RBI and two runs scored. Mark Vientos (Mets #8 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) doubled and scored a run for Binghamton.
Cole Gordon made the start for the RumblePonies, allowing three earned runs over five innings of work, fanning four.
The RumblePonies square off with New Hampshire again today at 1:35 p.m. Binghamton will send right-hander Tony Dibrell to the mound.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
The Brooklyn Cyclones fell to Jersey Shore, 5–4.
Ronny Mauricio (Mets #2 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) launched his sixth homer on the season for Brooklyn while driving in three. Joe Genord would also add a home run, a fourth inning solo shot. Brett Baty (Mets #4 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely twice.
Alec Kisena shined in his start for the Cyclones, tossing five shutout innings and striking out five.
Brooklyn will send Jose Butto (Mets #15 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) to the mound as they take on Jersey Shore again. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
ST. LUCIE METS
The St. Lucie Mets were defeated by Fort Myers, 9–4.
Catcher Matt O’Neill went 2-for-2 with two walks, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI. Alex Ramirez (Mets #9 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) walked and scored a run while Ranfy Adon and Jimmy Titus each recorded a RBI.
Junior Santos (Mets #11 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) made the start for St. Lucie, allowing one run over four innings of work. Liam McCall pitched two scoreless innings out of the bullpen and lowered his season ERA to 0.77.
Oscar Rojas is expected to make the start for St. Lucie today as they take on Fort Myers at 12:00 p.m.
