SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets defeated Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 5–3.
Travis Blankenhorn (Mets #21 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline), Chance Sisco and Khalil Lee (Mets #6 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) each launched a first inning home run for Syracuse to provide the early lead. Mark Payton recorded a multi-hit game while Drew Jackson reached base safely twice and scored a run.
Newly acquired Trevor Williams made the start for Syracuse, getting the win after tossing six innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out six.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
The Binghamton RumblePonies blanked Hartford in a 6–0 win.
Carlos Rincon went 3-for-5 with a triple, home run and three RBI. Brett Baty (Mets #4 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) also homered, a two-run shot in the ninth inning. Mark Vientos (Mets #8 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base four times, collecting three hits, a walk and scoring two runs. Matt Winaker reached base three times and scored twice.
Cole Gordon was unhittable in his start, tossing five hitless shutout innings and striking out eight. The bullpen took the no-hitter into the ninth before surrendering hit, but complete the shutout in the win.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn fell to Jersey Shore, 4–3.
Francisco Álvarez (Mets #1 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) recorded a multi-homer game, driving in three. Joe Genord had a multi-hit game including a double while Jeremy Vasquez reached base safely three times.
ST. LUCIE METS
The St. Lucie Mets saw a 2–1 loss to Daytona.
Quinn Brodey homered in the contest for St. Lucie, while Jaylen Palmer (Mets #11 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely twice.
David Griffin pitched well in the start, allowing two earned runs on four hits over five innings, fanning five.
