Farm Report Recap: 7/9

SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets defeated Scranton/Wilkes-Barre by a score of 2–1. Patrick Mazeika recorded a multi-hit night that included a solo home run in the eighth inning that tied the game late. Drew Jackson was responsible for the go-ahead hit in the 10th inning that gave Syracuse the lead in extras. J.D. Davis reached base safely twice as he continues to rehab wit Syracuse.

RHP, Alex Sanabia

Alex Sanabia made the start, tossing seven innings and allowing just one earned run while striking out two. Stephen Nogosek was lights out in relief, fanning five batters over two scoreless innings, earning the win. Bradley Roney struck out the side in the tenth inning to record the save and secure the win.

Syracuse is scheduled to lay Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a doubleheader today. Game one will begin at 5:10 p.m. and game two will begin following the completion of game one.

BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton fell to New Hampshire, 7–3.

C, Nick Meyer

Nick Meyer launched a two-run homer in the third inning while Nick Conti reached base safely three times with two walks, a hit and run scored.

Cole Gordon toed the rubber for the RumblePonies, allowing two earned runs over five innings of work.

Binghamton continues their series with New Hampshire tonight at 6:35p.m. Oscar de la Cruz is expected to start for Binghamton.

BROOKLYN CYCLONES
The Brooklyn Cyclones saw a 6–4 loss to Hudson Valley.

3B/OF, Brett Baty

Jeremy Vasquez launched a two run homer for Brooklyn while Brett Baty recorded a multi-hit game (his 16th this year) and run scored. Antoine Duplantis also tallied multiple hits on the night for the Cyclones. Zach Ashford doubled, walked, scored a run and drove one in.

Brooklyn will square off against Hudson Valley again, playing a doubleheader. Game one is set to begin at 4:05 p.m. with game two immediately following.

ST. LUCIE METS
The St. Lucie Mets were defeated by Fort Myers, 13–5.

OF, Joe Suozzi

Joe Suozzi had a multi-hit game including a home run. Anthony Walters reached base safely four times with two hits and two walks, also driving in a run while Brandon McIlwain also reached base safely four times with a run and RBI.

St. Lucie will send J.T. Ginn (Mets #6 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) to the mound as they continue their series with Fort Myers tonight at 6:10 p.m.
