SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets fell to Worcester yesterday, 7–6.
Mark Payton recorded a three hit game for Syracuse that included a double and three RBI. Khalil Lee (Mets #6 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) also had a multi-hit game with a double and home run. Wilfredo Tovar scored three runs.
Vance Worley made the start for Syracuse, fanning three batters over four innings of work. Franklyn Kilomé continues to look good out of the bullpen after tossing two scoreless innings in which he struck out five batters.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton lost a pitcher’s duel to Hartford, 1–0.
Jake Mangum (Mets #27 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline), Luis Carpio and Yoel Romero each collected a multiple hits in the contest. Brett Baty (Mets #4 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely twice with a hit and walk.
Connor Grey turned in another solid start for the RumblePonies, allowing one earned run on just two hits over six innings of work, fanning five batters.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn’s matchup with Wilmington was suspended in the top for the fourth inning with Brooklyn leading 4–0.
Antoine Duplantis has two hits, a run scored and RBI while Jaylen Palmer (Mets #11 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely twice with a double and walk. Tanner Murphy and Nic Gaddis each drove in a run before the game was suspended due to rain.
The Cyclones will resume their matchup with Wilmington today with their regularly scheduled matchup against Wilmington following the completion of game one.
ST. LUCIE METS
St. Lucie saw their matchup with Dunedin get postponed due to weather. The team will play a doubleheader today (8/11).
