SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets swept a doubleheader from Worcester.
In a 10–8 game one win, Syracuse overcame an eight-run deficit. Cheslor Cuthbert recorded a three hit game to go along with three RBI. Josh Reddick made his Syracuse Mets debut as a pinch-hitter, crushing a three run homer in the seventh inning. Mason Williams had a multi-hit game while scoring a run and driving one in. Wilfredo Tovar collected two RBI.
Syracuse would go on to win game two, 5–4.
Chance Cisco launched a three run homer in the fifth inning while Mark Payton tallied a multi-hit game and drove in a run. Cody Bohanek scored twice for Syracuse in the win.
Zack Godley got the start for Syracuse, striking out six batters over four innings of work.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton saw a 4–1 win over Hartford.
Jake Mangum (Mets #27 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) stayed hot, notching two base hits and two runs scored. Brett Baty (Mets #4 ranked propsect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely twice and drove in a run. Yoel Romero and Edgardo Fermin each doubled and scored a run in the win.
Cole Gordon continues to put together solid starts for Binghamton. In his outing yesterday, he allowed just one hit over five shutout innings while striking out ten batters — getting the win.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn fell to Wilmington, 7–4.
Jaylen Palmer (Mets #11 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) recorded a three hit game with a walk, two runs scored and RBI. Francisco Álvarez (Mets #1 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) tallied two RBI in the contest. Brooklyn’s leading hitter Antoine Duplantis tripled and scored a run.
ST. LUCIE METS
St. Lucie saw a 2–0 loss to Dunedin.
Mets 2021 draft pick Jack-Thomas Wold recorded a three hit game while fellow 2021 draft pick JT Schwartz had two hits for St. Lucie.
Oscar Rojas got the start for St. Lucie, pitching seven strong innings in which he only allowed two earned runs and struck out 11 batters.
