SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets defeated Worcester, 6–1.
David Thompson went 2-for-5 with a home run, double, two runs scored and four RBI. Josh Reddick collected a multi-hit game and scored two runs. Wilfredo Tovar reached base safely three times with a run scored and RBI.
Jesús Reyes made the start for Syracuse, tossing six shutout innings allowing just one hit while fanning seven.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton defeated Hartford, 4–3.
Jake Mangum (Mets #27 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) recorded a base hit and run scored, but most importantly a walk off sac-fly to secure the win for Binghamton. He is hitting .481 in the month of August. Brett Baty (Mets #4 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) collected a pair of RBI while Luis Carpio had a multi-hit game with a double and two runs scored.
Oscar De La Cruz pitched well for the RumblePonies, tossing 5.2 innings and allowing one run while striking out ten batters.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn fell to Wilmington, 12–5.
Francisco Álvarez (Mets #1 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) launched his fifteenth Brooklyn home run as part of a multi-hit night. Jeremy Vasquez also had a multi-hit game including a double and run scored. Nic Gaddis had two RBI.
David Griffin made the start for Brooklyn aftfer recently being promoted from St. Lucie, allowing one earned run over three innings while striking out four.
ST. LUCIE METS
Due to an impending threat of a tropical storm, St. Lucie played their matchup against Dunedin scheduled for today, yesterday 8/14 as part of a doubleheader.
