SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets defeated Buffalo, 3–0.
Syracuse scored all of their runs in the fourth inning on solo shots from Wilfredo Tovar, David Thompson and Cheslor Cuthbert.
Adam Oller continues to pitch lights out, going five innings while allowing just one hit, zero runs and striking out five. He has yet to allow an earned run since being promoted to Triple-A Syracuse.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
The Binghamton RumblePonies swept a doubleheader from Portland.
In a 4–0 game one win, Carlos Cortes (Mets #10 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) launched his 14th home run on the season, a solo shot in the fifth inning. Cortes also walked twice and scored two runs in the win. Carlos Rincon (Mets #24 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) tallied two doubles and three RBI.
Cole Gordon continues to dominate on the mound at the Double-A level, going the distance in a seven inning complete game shutout. Gordon’s final line: 7.0 IP | 3 H | 0 ER | 4 K
Jake Mangum led Binghamton to a 5–3 win in game two. The RumblePonies outfielder went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI. Carlos Rincon doubled and scored a run while Hayden Senger (Mets #21 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base safely twice and scored two runs.
José Buttó struck out four batters over 3.1 innings in the start. Joe Zanghi, Mitch Ragan and Colin Holderman combined for 3.2 scoreless innings in relief to help secure the win for Binghamton.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn fell to Hudson Valley, 6–4.
Antoine Duplantis recorded a three-hit game while Jose Peroza belted his third home run in the last four games. Jeremy Vasquez doubled, drove in two and scored a run in the contest.
Brooklyn’s bullpen combined to allow one run and struck out ten batters over 7.2 innings in relief.
ST. LUCIE METS
St. Lucie saw a 15–7 loss to Tampa.
Jose Colina doubled and homered for St. Lucie, driving in two runs while Alex Ramirez (Mets #7 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) went 3-for-5 with a run scored. Warren Saunders also collected three hits on the night, including a double and RBI. Cesar Berbesi recorded two doubles and two runs driven in.
