SYRACUSE METS
Syracuse’s matchup with Rochetser ended in a 3–3 tie.
Luis Guillorme recorded a multi-hit game as he contnues his rehab assignment. David Thompson clubbed his tenth home run on the season — a seventh inning two-run homer that tied the game. David Rodríguez had three hits and drove in a run while Wilfredo Tovar went 2-for-3 with a run scored.
Jerad Eickhoff made the start for Syracuse, allowing two earned runs over four innings with five strikeouts.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton defeated New Hampshire, 8–4.
Carlos Rincon (Mets #24 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) homered and drove in three in the win. Carlos Cortes (Mets #10 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) was on base three times and scored three runs.
Brett Baty (Mets #2 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) was on base four times as he went 3-for-5 with a walk, double, run scored and RBI. Luis Carpio also had a three hit game for the RumblePonies, scoring twice.
Binghamton’s bullpen combined to allow just one earned run over 8.1 innings pitched, striking out five.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn saw a 5–1 loss to Aberdeen.
Cody Bohanek belted a solo home run in the sixth inning while Ronny Mauricio (Mets #3 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) recorded two hits on the day.
ST. LUCIE METS
St. Lucie was defeated by Daytona, 9–6.
JT Schwartz (Mets #17 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) went 2-for-4 with three RBI while Alex Ramirez (Mets #8 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) also had multi-hit game that included a double, run scored and RBI. Brandon McIlwain scored a run and drove one in as well.
Sean Reid-Foley made the start for St. Lucie as part of his rehab assignment, pitching one scoreless inning. Stephen Nogosek also continued his rehab assignment, tossing a scoreless inning in relief.
