Syracuse Mets
The Syracuse Mets fell to Buffalo last night, 9–7. Dilson Herrera hit his 22nd home run on the season while Arismendy Alcántara, René Rivera and Travis Taijeron each had multi-hit games. Ali Sánchez is now 3-for-8 since his promotion to Syracuse.
Binghamton Rumble Ponies
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies were blanked by Akron, 3–0. Andrés Giménez, Patrick Mazeika and Austin Bossart all had a base hit for Binghamton.
St. Lucie Mets
The St. Lucie Mets lost to Daytona last night, 4–3. Manny Rodriguez recorded a multi-hit game which included a two-run homer and a double. Carlos Cortes also had a double, walk and run scored. Jacob Zanon recorded an RBI triple in the loss. Luc Rennie went six innings, allowing three earned runs.
Columbia Fireflies
The Columbia Fireflies were tied with Hagerstown 2–2 in the bottom of the 7th inning before the game was suspended due to weather. Chase Chambers has a double and run scored while Gerson Molina tallied an RBI. Christian James allowed two runs over five innings of work.
Brooklyn Cyclones
The Brooklyn Cyclones fell to Williamsport, 4–3. Luke Ritter doubled, drove in a run and scored in the loss while Yoel Romero reached base safely three times. Kennie Taylor recorded a multi-hit game, raising his average to .333 since his call-up to Brooklyn.
Kingsport Mets
The Kingsport Mets recorded twelve hits in a 5–4 win over Burlington. Francisco Alvarez went 3-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored. Tanner Murphy homered in the win while Scott Ota had two hits, a run scored and two RBI.
Mets Dominican Summer League
The DSL Mets (1) lost 9–8 to the DSL Nationals. Four different players had multi-hit games for the Mets. The DSL Mets (2) tallied up eleven team hits in a 16–3 loss to the DSL Cardinals.
