The Syracuse Mets fell to Buffalo, 8–5.
Mark Payton went 2-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored in the contest.
Khalil Lee (Mets #8 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) also homered — 14th on the season — as he has hit safely in 15 of his last 16 games. Brandon Drury recorded a multi-hit game with a double and a walk.
Mets MiLB Organizational Pitcher of the Year, Adam Oller made the start for Syracuse, striking out five batters over 5.2 innings pitched. Stephen Nogosek made an appearance in relief, striking out five over two scoreless innings.
