SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets fell to Buffalo, 3–0.
Travis Blankenhorn (Mets #18 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base three times with two hits and a walk while Brandon Drury also recorded a multi-hit game. Mark Payton doubled in the contest.
Vance Worley made the start for Syracuse, allowing just one earned run over six innings and collecting three strikeouts. Eric Orze (Mets #25 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) pitched a scoreless innings in relief while collecting three strikeouts.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton’s scheduled matchup with Portland was postponed due to COVID-19 related health issues.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn saw a 7–6 loss to Hudson Valley.
Luis Gonzalez also homered in the matchup, a grand slam that gave the Cyclones an early four run lead. Ronny Mauricio (Mets #3 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) launched his 19th home run on the season, a two-run shot in the eighth inning.
David Griffin toed the rubber for Brooklyn, allowing three runs over five innings pitched while striking out five batters.
ST. LUCIE METS
St. Lucie was defeated by Lakeland, 5–1.
Kevin Kendall recorded a multi-hit game that included a double and a triple while Justin Guerrera scored a run. Omar De Los Santos collected two hits on the night and drove in a run.
Robert Colina got the nod for St. Lucie, allowing one earned run over 4.2 innings pitched while fanning five batters.
