SYRACUSE METS
Syracuse fell to Buffalo, 8–4.
José Martínez went 3-for-3, launching two home runs and driving in three on the night. David Thompson reached base safely twice and drove in a run while Khalil Lee (Mets #8 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) had a hit, walk and run scored.
Zack Godley made the start for Syracuse, fanning four batters over 5.2 innings pitched.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton’s matchup with Portland was postponed due to COVID-19 related health issues.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn swept a doubleheader from Hudson Valley.
In a 4–0 game one win, Francisco Álvarez (Mets #1 ranked prospect — MLB pipeline) went 2-for-4 with a home run, his 19th on the season. Antoine Duplantis recorded a multi-hit game and also drove in two runs in the win. Cody Bohanek scored a run and collected an RBI in the win.
J.T. Ginn (Mets #5 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) got the win for Brooklyn after scattering three hits over five shutout innings and striking out five. Colby Morris tossed two scoreless innings in relief to get the save and lock down the game one win for Brooklyn.
Brooklyn would take game two, 10–8.
Catcher Nic Gaddis had a huge night at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two home runs and five RBIs. Jose Peroza also homered in the win, a three-run shot in the third inning. Luis Gonzalez recorded a multi-hit game and scored two runs, also stealing a base.
Michel Otanez (Mets #29 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) got the save after pitching two innings in relief.
ST. LUCIE METS
St. Lucie saw a 2–1 loss to Lakeland.
Justin Guerrera reached base twice with a hit and walk, also driving in a run while JT Schwartz had a hit and run scored. Rowdey Jordan and Brandon McIlwain each recorded a base hit in the contest.
Robert Gsellman made a rehab start for St. Lucie, allowing one earned. Junior Santos (Mets #14 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) came on in relief and allowing one earned run in seven innings pitched and fanning five batters.
