Mets Farm Report: 7/15
SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets erupted for 9 runs in the third inning to take a 14–12 win over Rochester.
Khalil Lee (Mets #7 ranked prospect — MLB Pipeline) went 2-for-3 with a walk and two-run homer. Albert Almora Jr. would also homer in the win as Brandon Drury recorded a three-hit game and Patrick Mazeika recorded a three-RBI game. Drew Jackson provided the big blow for Syracuse in the form of a third inning grand slam.
Alex Sanabia made the start for Syracuse, lowering his ERA to 1.38 with 1.2 scoreless innings.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
The Binghamton RumblePonies defeated Altoona 4–3.
Nick Conti went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI. Manny Rodriguez also tallied a double and RBI. Wagner Lagrange would record a multi-hit game.
Adam Oller received his fourth win on the season, tossing seven innings and allowing three runs while striking out six. Allan Winans got the save, fanning three batters without allowing a run over the final two innings.
BROOKLYN CYCLONES
The Brooklyn Cyclones saw a 13–3 loss to Jersey Shore.
Antoine Duplantis recorded a multi-hit game and drove in a run while Jeremy Vasquez reached base three times with a double and two walks while Cody Bohanek also doubled and collected two RBIs.
Carlos Carrasco made a rehab start with the Brooklyn Cyclones, striking out two and allowing one hit over two shutout innings.
ST. LUCIE METS
The St. Lucie Mets fell to Palm Beach, 5–4.
Warren Saunders continues to swing a hot bat, collecting three base hits on the night while driving one in and scoring once. Jimmy Tuts reached base safely three times and scored a run. Brandon McIlwain and Omar de los Santos collected an RBI each.
Oscar Rojas made the start for St. Lucie, allowing three earned runs and tallying five strikeouts over 4.1 innings of work.
