SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets fell to Worcester yesterday, 7–4.

Jake Hager extended his hitting streak to nine games, launching his third home run of the season in the third inning. David Thompson would also add a home run of his own as part of his multi-hit, three RBI game. Mets outfielder, Brandon Nimmo made the rehab start with Syracuse last night, leading off and playing center field.

Syracuse continues the road series at Worcester tonight at 6:35 p.m. Jordan Yamamoto is scheduled to start for Syracuse.

BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton saw a 9–6 loss to Altoona yesterday.

Mets #19 prospect (MLB Pipeline) Carlos Cortes recorded a three hit game, scoring twice and driving one in. Sebastian Elizalde doubled, tallying two RBI on the night. Jeremy Vasquez, Wagner Lagrange and Yoel Romero would each have multi-hit games for Binghamton.

Andrew Mitchell tossed two scoreless innings in relief, fanning three.

The Binghamton RumblePonies take on Altoona on the road again today. Adam Oller is expected to make the start for Binghamton as first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn lost to Greenville last night, 8–2.

OF, Jake Mangum

Jake Mangum launched his first professional home run, a two-run shot in the eighth inning. Antoine Duplantis reached base three times, recording a multi-hit game and walking once. Brett Baty (Mets #4 prospect — MLB Pipeline) tallied another base hit, extending his hitting streak to five games.

The Cyclones will send Alec Kisena to the mound, as they continue their road series in Greenville. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.

ST. LUCIE METS

INF, Shervyen Newton

St. Lucie’s continuation of Wednesday’s (5/12) rain suspended game with Daytona ended in a 15–2 loss for the Mets.

Shervyen Newton (Mets #15 prospect — MLB Pipeline) reached base twice with a hit and walk. Mets #12 prospect (MLB Pipeline) Jaylen Palmer doubled in the loss.

St. Lucie would bounce back in yesterday’s regularly scheduled game, blanking Daytona by a score of 2–0.

Zach Ashford reached base three times with two hits and a walk. LT Struble and Jose Peroza would each score a run for the Mets.

RHP, Junior Santos

Junior Santos (Mets #11 prospect — MLB Pipeline) made the start for St. Lucie, tossing four shutout frames and punching out five. Austin Faith got the win, tossing three perfect innings in relief and lowering his season ERA to 1.23. Reyson Santos pitched a scoreless ninth to record the save.

St. Lucie squares off with Daytona on the road again tonight, first pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Dylan Hall toes the rubber for the Mets.
