SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets fell to Rochester last night, 9–8, despite recording 11 team hits.

INF, Drew Jackson

Drew Jackson had a big day at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored. David Thompson also recorded a multi-hit game which included a triple and two runs scored while Cody Bohanek collected a couple hits on the night as well. Quinn Brodey also tripled in the loss, scoring twice and driving in two.

Stephen Nogosek fanned three over two innings of scoreless work in relief. His season ERA is now down to 1.46.

Syracuse takes on Rochester again tonight at 7:05 p.m.

BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton played a doubleheader against Akron with the second game being a makeup from a 5/26 postponement. The RumblePonies swept the doubleheader, winning game one 3–2, and game two 8–7.

3B, Mark Vientos

In game one, Mets #8 ranked prospect Mark Vientos (MLB Pipeline) recorded a multi-hit game, including his third home run on the season. Wagner Lagrange would also drive in a run for Binghamton while Jake Mangum and David Rodríguez scored a run each.

Josh Walker made his RumblePonies debut after being called-up from Brooklyn. The left-hander tossed six innings, allowing two runs and fanning six batters. Joe Shaw and Thomas McIlraith combined for two scoreless innnings out of the bullpen to secure the win for Binghamton.

In game two, the RumblePonies tallied 14 team hits. Jake Mangum had a three-hit game with two doubles and and two runs scored. Mark Vientos reached base safely three times with two hits and a walk. He also drove in two and scored twice. Jeremy Vasquez, Yoel Romero and Matt Winaker also notched multi-hit games for Binghamton.

Andrew Mitchell earned the win in game two, tossing two scoreless innings in relief while striking out two. His season ERA is now 2.53.

Binghamton will host Akron again tonight at 7:05 p.m.

BROOKLYN CYCLONES
Brooklyn dropped both games of a doubleheader with Aberdeen yesterday.

3B, Brett Baty

In a 6–2 game one loss, Mets #4 ranked prospect Brett Baty (MLB Pipeline) reached base safely twice with a hit and walk, scoring a run and driving one in. Mets #1 ranked prospect Francsico Álvarez (MLB Pipeline) also recorded an RBI for Brooklyn.

Andrew Edwards lowered his season ERA to 1.86 after tossing one scoreless inning in relief.

Brooklyn lost game two, 10–1.

Blake Tiberi collected two hits for Brooklyn while outfielder Zach Ashford doubled and drove in a run. Allan Winans tossed a scoreless frame and lowered his ERA to 1.42.

Brooklyn will square off with Aberdeen again tonight at 7:00 p.m.

ST. LUCIE METS
The St. Lucie Mets saw a 9–4 loss to Daytona yesterday.

1B, Warren Saunders

Tanner Murphy launched his second home run on the season, a solo shot in the second inning. Warren Saunders continues to swing a hot bat, making it six of his last seven games with a hit. Catcher Nic Gaddis walked three times.

Right-handed pitcher Liam McCall fanned three over two scoreless innings in relief. He has yet to allow a run in 8.2 innings of work.

St. Lucie takes on Daytona again at 6:10 p.m. Luis Moreno will get the start.
