SYRACUSE METS
The Syracuse Mets lost to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 15–10.
Johneshwy Fargas had a huge day at the plate for Syracuse, going 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. Wilfredo Tovar and Deivy Grullón also collected three RBI each. Jake Hager reached base a total of six times, recording a four hit game and walking twice.
Syracuse will enjoy a day off before traveling to Worcester to take on the WooSox tomorrow afternoon.
BINGHAMTON RUMBLEPONIES
Binghamton’s series finale with Akron was postponed due to inclement weather. Their matchup will be made up at a later date.
The RumblePonies have a scheduled day off today before their home opener against Altoona on Tuesday.
BROOKLYN CYCLONE
The Brooklyn Cyclones’ matchup with Asheville was cancelled due to a non-COVID-19-related illness.
The Cyclones also have a scheduled day off today, as they prepare to continue their road trip in Greenville Tuesday night.
ST. LUCIE METS
The St. Lucie Mets fell to Jupiter 7–5.
Pete Crow-Armstong (Mets #1 prospect, MLB Pipeline) continued his hot start to the season, tallying three hits to bring his early season average to .450. Mets #1 prospect, Francisco Álvarez (MLB Pipeline), reached base four times with three walks and a double. Álvarez now has an OPS of 1.549. Liam McCall and Willy Taveras each had a scoreless outing in relief.
Like the rest of the farm, St. Lucie will enjoy a scheduled off day today before opening a road series in Daytona on Tuesday.
