Wishing Ken Davidoff The Best

Ken Davidoff didn’t only write about stats, records or titles. He wrote about what made a person tick. He was champion of the underdog. He got to know someone’s heart.

Ken and I have had a great relationship since his days at The Record. Anytime I was trying to bring some attention to a special cause or charity, my first call was always to Ken.

His stories made a lot of people happy and had such a positive effect on so many lives. Ken announced tonight he is entering a new phase of his life and that after writing baseball for almost every day the last 25 years, he is leaving the Post as of February 28. I will miss seeing his name every day in the paper, but the most important thing is that we will still be friends.
